Gigi led the UX & CX Insights capability for the global design team. This group of researchers and designers enabled teams in multiple global locations to work with users in foundational research, co-creation, and evaluative research across more than 50 projects. As a company making COVID tests and testing machines at the beginning of the 2020 global pandemic, it was imperative that the design team was able to collaborate with partners across the organization to shorten product design cycle times - in some cases from as long as 8 years to 3 month beta releases.

Gigi helped Fidelity create adjacent new businesses and improved customer experiences by building and managing a team of design researchers, strategists, customer recruiters, quantitative researchers, business designers, UX designers and prototypers. The 25 person team worked on new business experiments, customer experience design and service design across the firm. Gigi hired, mentored and managed the team of design experts recruited from places like IDEO, Continuum, Doblin/Deloitte, Carnegie Mellon and The Institute of Design.
